Silver Lining Children’s Foundation Launches as New Global Philanthropic Initiative Focused on India’s Youth
May 2026
A new chapter in corporate philanthropy and global social impact has officially begun with the launch of the Silver Lining Children’s Foundation, a rebranded and expanded initiative dedicated to advancing early childhood development and education for underserved communities in India.
The foundation, unveiled in May 2026, evolves from the earlier Exusia & Silver Children’s Foundation (ESCF)—a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative that originated at Exusia prior to its acquisition by Globant. The rebranding reflects both a broader mission and a renewed commitment to scaling impact through partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) across India.
From Corporate CSR to Independent Philanthropy
The original ESCF was established as a joint CSR effort between Exusia and the private family office of entrepreneur Trevor Silver, with a mission centered on “the betterment of society” through collaboration with NGOs throughout India.
Founded in 2024, ESCF focused early on initiatives supporting vulnerable populations, particularly children, through programs addressing early stage child development, education, and community engagement activities such as teaching and health awareness campaigns.
The transformation into the Silver Lining Children’s Foundation comes in the wake of Exusia’s acquisition by Globant in September 2024—a strategic move that integrated the data and AI consulting firm into Globant’s global technology ecosystem.
While Exusia continues to operate within Globant, the newly launched foundation represents an independent philanthropic evolution, positioning itself to expand beyond its CSR roots and operate with a more focused, global nonprofit mandate.
Leadership Driving the Vision
At the helm of the Silver Lining Children’s Foundation are Trevor Silver, founder of Exusia, and his wife Ande Silver, who are jointly leading the initiative.
The couple is spearheading efforts to channel philanthropic capital and resources toward NGOs across India, with a clear emphasis on early-stage childhood development and education—areas widely recognized as critical to long-term societal outcomes.
Early childhood development has emerged as a key focus in global and Indian policy discussions, given that the earliest years of life play a decisive role in shaping cognitive, emotional, and social capabilities. Research indicates that a significant portion of brain development occurs before the age of five, underscoring the importance of timely educational and developmental interventions.
Strategic Focus: NGOs and Grassroots Impact
The Silver Lining Children’s Foundation aims to partner directly with grassroots NGOs operating in India’s most underserved regions. These collaborations are expected to support a range of interventions, including:
- Early childhood education programs
- Nutritional and healthcare support for young children
- Community-based learning and developmental initiatives
- Capacity building for local educational institutions
India continues to face structural challenges in providing equitable access to education, particularly in rural and low-income communities. NGOs play a critical role in bridging these gaps by offering resources, infrastructure, and localized expertise to ensure children remain in school and receive foundational learning opportunities.
By focusing on this ecosystem, the foundation seeks to amplify the impact of existing organizations rather than duplicate efforts—providing funding, strategic guidance, and global visibility to high-potential NGO partners.
A Broader Mission of Long-Term Change
Speaking to the foundation’s vision, Trevor Silver has long emphasized the importance of leveraging innovation, global talent, and philanthropy to drive meaningful societal change. His previous work establishing Exusia’s global operations—including delivery centers in India—helped build a foundation for continued engagement in the region.
With the launch of the Silver Lining Children’s Foundation, that engagement now enters a new phase—one that prioritizes sustainable, long-term impact over traditional CSR frameworks.
The rebranding also signals a shift toward a more holistic and scalable model of philanthropy, integrating resources from private capital, corporate networks, and nonprofit ecosystems to address systemic challenges in child development and education.
Looking Ahead
As it begins operations, the Silver Lining Children’s Foundation is expected to expand its partnerships with NGOs nationwide, with a long-term ambition to become a leading philanthropic platform supporting children’s welfare in India.
The initiative reflects a growing trend among global business leaders to extend their influence beyond traditional corporate boundaries, applying entrepreneurial thinking and strategic investment principles to social impact.
With Trevor Silver and Ande Silver at the forefront, the foundation is poised to channel both expertise and resources into programs that aim to create lasting opportunities for the next generation—ensuring that children across India have access to the education and developmental support they need to thrive.
